Our Poke bowls are authentic Poke inspired by Hawaii’s cool ocean breeze and beautiful, warm sunsets. Poké (poh-keh), which translates to “to section, slice, or cut” in Hawaiian, is chunks of raw fish cut into cubes and then marinated. Here at Poke Pub, we offer new-school versions of Poké which consists of freshly marinated raw (sushi grade) fish served atop in a bowl with your choice of toppings to complete the perfect Poke bowl. Our marinade is a special blend, a homemade recipe meant to capture all of the wonderful sights and sounds of Hawaii. It pulls all of the delicious ingredients together and adds further depth to this amazingly simple dish.
Pa’ina – Meal
We are two friends who partnered up to bring this tasty Hawaiian delight here to California. One of us, in fact, was born in Hawaii and comes from a family business – a sushi restaurant – so you can be sure that the poke you enjoy here at Poke Pub is as true to a Hawaiian pa’ina as can be!

But with Poke becoming such a sensation in California (and throughout the U.S.), what is it that Poke Pub does differently? Well, while most restaurants view their customers as, simply put, “customers” (not that there’s anything wrong with that!), we want each and every person who walks through our doors to feel like Ohana – family.

Our History
Established in 2022
Aloha! Come take a trip to Hawaii right here in the Long Beach neighborhood. Poke - in Hawaiian, meaning to section, slice or cut - are chunks of raw fish cut into cubes and then marinated. At Poke Pub, we serve quality, sushi-grade fish in a bowl on top of a variety of ingredients left to our guests. Our marinade is a special homemade blend meant to capture not only the cuisine but the sights, sounds and smells of Hawaii by pulling ingredients together that add greater depth to an amazingly simple dish. Build your own bowl and enjoy it for dine-in or take-out. Our guests can even order online. We look forward to your visit soon to try something different, healthy and delicious.
